1.) You can still gain weight if you eat healthy food.
If you eat more calories than what you burn, you will gain weight. Whether it’s a Big Mac or salad. Period.
2.) Just because someone LOOK good, doesn’t mean they are healthy and happy.
As someone who knows a lot of industry professionals and athletes–9 times out of 10 those shredded model-like humans you see are starving, low energy, missing periods, etc.
Or maybe that friend that looks so fabulously thin? Yeah, she barely eats because her constant stress about her recent divorce is making her NOT hungry.
3.) Nobody ACTUALLY likes cauliflower rice.
Enough said.
4.) You can’t spot reduce belly fat (sorry).
Our bodies just simply do not work that way. We tend to lose fat a little from all over, but depending on genetics and hormones, we will store fat in different areas from person to person.
5.) Motivation comes AFTER taking action.
By showing up for yourself, you are proving to yourself that you CAN do the hard thing–which is exciting.
6.) Supplements CAN be helpful–and do just that–supplement your routine.
If you can’t get above 5k steps a day, drink above 50 oz of water consistently, or hit 90+ grams of protein, I don’t want to even want to hear “But it’s not workingggg!”
7.) You may have to work harder than the person next to you to get rsults–and that’s okay, it is what it is.
As someone who has struggled with hormonal imbalance her entire life in a way that has left me in periods of exhaustion and frustration no matter what I did–I get it.
8.) Most healthy desserts end up being the same calories and macros (or worse).

9.) Often the issue isn’t HOW MUCH you’re eating, but the RATIO of nutrients that you are eating.
We often are undereating protein and fiber while overeating carbs, fats and sugars. Eating a balanced meal makes sure you are getting enough nutrients to keep you feeling your best while also keeping you satisfied so you have no crazy cravings!
10.) If you aren’t happy with yourself now, a smaller body will NOT make you happy.
From personal experience, you will never be happy no matter HOW MUCH progress you make, if you never make peace with yourself for where you are at.
Make peace with your body at honor it at every stage. It has carried you through some incredible things 🫶
